The tragedy at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, has led local education officials and law enforcement to reassess school security measures. Parents also need to play a crucial role in the discussion.
On Wednesday, March 27, NJSBA will host "Safe and Secure Schools: A Parent's Forum," featuring an informative and interactive discussion on the new challenges of school security. The program will be held at Paramus High School from 7-9 p.m. Registration is at 6:30 p.m.

Educational Services Center (ESC) will be offering a comprehensive 8-week SAT prep course at MRHS, in preparation for the May SAT exam. ESC's instructors are certified teachers and experts in SAT subject matter and strategies. Classes will be held from 6:30-9:30pm on Mondays, starting on March 4th and concluding on April 29th.
