
Manchester's own Nancy Zhang received the Rensselaer Medal Award in recognition of her success in mathematics and science! For more than 90 years, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, in conjunction with high schools around the world, has awarded the Rensselaer Medal to promising secondary school students who have distinguished themselves in mathematics and science.

The tragedy at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, has led local education officials and law enforcement to reassess school security measures. Parents also need to play a crucial role in the discussion.
On Wednesday, March 27, NJSBA will host "Safe and Secure Schools: A Parent's Forum," featuring an informative and interactive discussion on the new challenges of school security. The program will be held at Paramus High School from 7-9 p.m. Registration is at 6:30 p.m.
