Board Member Bio - Valdo Panzera

Valdo Panzera - Board President
Valdo Panzera is a lifelong resident of northern New Jersey and has called North Haledon home since 2001. Living in North Haledon positively impacted Valdo’s life so much that when he married his wife, Megan, they decided to raise their family within the community. Valdo and Megan have two children together, Valdo III and Luca. These two blessings have further strengthened their commitment to serving North Haledon and the surrounding communities.
Valdo has served on the Manchester Regional High School Board of Education since 2016 and currently serves as Board President. Also, Valdo currently serves on the North Haledon Board of Adjustments and has been an active trustee since 2016. He previously volunteered as a coach and served as past president of the Manchester Junior Falcons Football & Cheer Association.
Valdo is also a licensed Real Estate agent (2011) and works at Terrie O’Connor Realtors. Living in North Haledon, Valdo heard negative reviews regarding Manchester when selling homes. It was then that he decided he wanted to fix this perception and ran for the Manchester Board of Education to change the way the public viewed the school. His goal as president is not only to provide all of the students with the greatest opportunity for success but to make Manchester a place where all community members are welcome and respected. A place where all of the surrounding towns are proud of the school where they send their children. In the end, a better Manchester means a better Haledon, North Haledon, and Prospect Park.
MRHS has a great history of serving its communities and Valdo will continue to work to honor that legacy and lead his fellow Board members to ensure the school continues that great work for decades to come. The new turf football field and lights project will bring the communities together for exciting athletic competitions like never before and the students will have the opportunity to play at a facility on par with the best institutions of learning in New Jersey. Valdo is excited to continue to serve and partner with the incredible communities that not only make the school a place of learning, but an ideal for the students to strive for on a daily basis.
