Mrs. Cerelli is the school social worker on the Child Study Team. Her educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Family and Community Services from the University of Delaware and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. This is Mrs. Cerelli's eighth year here at MRHS, where she also acts as the Class Advisor to Class of 2017.
As the school social worker she is responsible for a case load of classified students. Mrs. Cerelli is also a member of member of the school’s crisis team as well as the I&RS committee.
Mrs. Cerelli's duties include developing students’ Individualized Education Plans, and ensuring their implementation in the classrooms; providing individual counseling interventions with students as needed; performing psychosocial assessments as part of the evaluation process to determine a student’s eligibility for services; consistent contact with students to ensure their success in the classroom and socially; parent contact and crisis intervention as needed.
