About Us:
Falcon’s Lounge, a collaborative project of Manchester Regional High School and Care Plus NJ, Inc., is dedicated to the provision of a comprehensive support system for MRHS students, their families and the larger school community. Falcon's Lounge will provide quality recreational, therapeutic and educational opportunities focused on the enhancement of student’s social, emotional and physical well being throughout their high school experience. Falcon’s Lounge is funded by the NJ Department of Children & Families.

Care Plus NJ, Inc.
Care Plus NJ, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive, recovery-focused integrated primary care, mental health care, and substance abuse rehabilitation services in 49 sites throughout Northern New Jersey.  Care Plus NJ is dedicated to excellence in mental health care and has commitment to life-long support needed by individuals and their families to ensure that they achieve their full potential to improve the quality of their lives. 

Staff
The staff at Falcon’s Lounge is employed by Care Plus NJ, Inc. Each member of our team is dedicated to working with adolescents and their families. We are easily accessible by visiting Falcons’ Lounge Room S-3 at Manchester Regional High School or by calling 973-389-2871.

Eligibility
Falcon’s Lounge services are open to all Manchester Regional High School students on a “drop in” basis. The program is marketed to all students and their parents via direct contact, mailings and special events. A signed permission slip is required for students under the age of 18 to participate in the services offered at Falcon’s Lounge.  You may download and print the permission slip form available on the right side of this page.  

Cost
There is no cost for any of our services, groups, or programs as long as the student(s) is enrolled in Manchester Regional High School. There is also no charge for any of our field trips or other activities unless otherwise noted.
 
Counseling
If you are a parent/guardian and believe your child may benefit from supportive counseling, please reach out to Melissa Murtha, LSW, Clinical Program Manager at 973-389-2871. If you are a school staff member/faculty and would like to refer a student for counseling services, you can submit a referral via the referral form link Click Here
