Please answer the question in one paragraph using complete English sentences.

You will be learning a new skill, synonyms and antonyms this week. Repeating the same words in your writing and speaking tends to get monotonous. Using synonyms makes your speech or writing richer and more "colorful." Using antonyms helps to emphasize your point, show contrast, or explain exactly what you mean. Please go over the lesson slides and complete the activities in the slides. Remember, you can type in (write) your answers in the provided lines or boxes.

Shared is a list of 22 commonly used pairs of synonyms in English. Translate each pair to your native language. Please look at the example that I provided and read the instructions carefully.

Please go over the Writing Process Lesson Slides and compose your essay as a Google Document by Friday, May 15. This assignment will be graded as a test and the highest score you can receive is a 4. I will be checking your work everyday.

Please fill out the shared graphic organizer comparing Ramadan to your favorite holiday: How are they the same? How are they different?
