Ms. Finizio has been selected as Manchester’s educator of the month for October. Ms. Finizio currently teaches Honors United States History I and college prep United States History I. Ms. Finizio has contributed greatly to the Social Studies Department since joining the faculty a few years ago. Ms. Finizio has played a key role securing the Social Studies Department’s recent grant from The Mark Schonwetter Holocaust Education Foundation. With this grant, Ms. Finizio was able to set up the school’s first field trip of the school year. Members of the Holocaust and Gencide class, along with many others participated in a trip to the Holocaust Museum and Center for Tolerance. Ms. Finizio continues to make positive contributions both inside and outside of the classroom which has led her students to all around academic success.
