MRHS Teacher and Specialist of the Year Honored at County Celebration!

On Wednesday, May 21st, Ms. Alyssa Bitar and Mr. Ronald Damiano were honored at the Passaic County Governor's Educator and Educational Service Professional of the Year Breakfast that was held at West Milford High School.  Superintendent Coviello and Principal Ercolani were honored to attend and introduce Ms. Bitar and Mr. Damiano to the Passaic County audience composed of Superintendents, Principals, county dignitaries, and over a hundred Teachers and Specialists of the Year for 2024-2025!  The Falcon Family is so proud of Ms. Bitar and her accomplishments as one of our finest Teachers of Science and Engineering.  Furthermore, enough cannot be said about the care and hard work of Mr. Damiano who is one of our longest standing aides and an MRHS alumnus to boot.  Another major highlight was Ms. Bernadette Orsita, the Passaic County Teacher of the Year for 2024-2025, who was the main speaker at the event.  Her speech moved the audience and reminded everyone why educators are so important in our lives.  To paraphrase her words of wisdom, "students go to school to feel safe... if they do, the learning follows."
