On Friday, 05/30/25 the MRHS Teen Summit students took home 4th place and $500 (Top 5 is the target in a competition that includes schools from the entire county) at the annual spring Teen Summit Conference at WPU! A special thanks to Passaic County Teacher of the Year Orsita for once again leading this annual program. Junior Jassie Matari also received a special award (Outstanding Youth Advocate) for her dedicated work to improve social media related to this annual conference and United for Prevention of Passaic County as well as so much more. This outstanding win in the area of Social/Emotional Wellness and Learning will be recognized at a BOE meeting in the fall. MRHS appreciates the importance of SEL and students who will stand up against substance abuse, bullying, and other forms of intolerance to help their fellow teens.
