Congratulations to the Passaic County Teacher of the Year for 2025-2026- Ms. Alyssa Bitar!

Good Afternoon, Falcon Family,

MRHS is truly a special place with a special group of educators who make sure that your child has the best experience possible every single day.  Their dedication to our school is matched only by their love of their craft.  Our teachers are one group of many who make up over 100,000 teachers across the State of New Jersey.  All of them do amazing things for our children day in and day out.  That said, this year, we are blessed to have yet another one of our outstanding teachers be honored as one of only twenty-one teachers in the State of New Jersey to earn the title of County Teacher of the Year!  This teacher embodies the Mission and Core Values that make up PC Manchester Regional High School.  She is someone who tirelessly works to make students successful in the classroom while simultaneously growing programming for MRHS students and beyond.  She enhances our science classrooms with her excellent lessons, founded our engineering program, and facilitates STEAM Nights and Summer Camps annually.  This pillar of our school, the 2025-2026 Passaic County Teacher of the Year, is Ms. Alyssa Bitar!

We could not be more proud of her and everything that she does for MRHS.  Thank you, Ms. Bitar!  You have definitely earned the title and we know that you will serve us well as our educational ambassador to our communities, the County of Passaic, and the State of New Jersey during the upcoming school year.  It should be noted that a school having two back to back County Teachers of the Year is extraordinarily rare and almost never happens.  Furthermore, only 0.021% of New Jersey teachers earn this distinction each year.

This is another historic day in Falcon history.  Thank you for your time, everyone.  You work and learn in a great school.  One of the best!  Have a great day and enjoy the rest of summer!
