Student Council is back with No-Shave November!

Student Council is back with No-Shave November! This year's participants, Mr. Tavarez, Mr. Sposato, Mr. Mercadante, Mr. Chinskey, and Mr. Santoro will be growing their mustaches for the month of November. Tune in in 2 weeks to see their progress! Proceeds will be donated to November, a charity focused on preventing prostate and testicular cancer, as well as men's mental health and suicide prevention.

Please be advised that the Passaic County Manchester Regional High School Board of Education is calling a special meeting to be held on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 7:00PM to discuss MEA negotiations. The Interact Club (Where students Make A Difference)

About a dozen Interactors helped out at North Haledon Day this Saturday 9/28/19! They could be seen selling Cotton Candy-Snow Cones-Setting tables and working at the Municipal Alliance table! They also got to spend time with some of their friends from the NHGAC and had a visit from Mayor George!

MRHS Staff Book Club

The Staff Book Club read The Pain Colony by Shannon Hunt and then met with the author to discuss the book. Shannon Hunt is a friend of Nick Joannides, who coordinated the visit. The members enjoyed learning about how the author gets her ideas, her process, and her next project. The Club’s next read is Lock Every Door, by Riley Sager. It’s never too late to join in!

The Manchester Falcons will Never Forget 9/11.

Manchester Regional High School students paid tribute to those lost eighteen years ago on September 11, 2001. Students in Mr. Ala’s Honors US History 2 participated in a court yard clean up where they were able to create a memorial, placing flags as a sign of respect for all those who were lost that September morning. This commemoration will serve as a symbol for all students attending Manchester Regional High School that as a nation, we will never forget!
