12th Annual Passaic County Teen Life Conference

The 12th Annual Passaic County Teen Life Conference was held at William Paterson University on December 14, 2018. This conference is hosted by Planned Parenthood and the Family Life Institute. All students were invited to write an essay answering the following: "What do you think is the best way to empower teens?" Of all of the schools invited to attend this conference in New Jersey, two Manchester Regional High School students won 1st and 2nd place in the essay contest. The first place winner is Selma Hajhassan (MRHS Junior) and the second place winner is Jennifer Negron (MRHS Senior). Congratulations!

Cancellation of Meeting

Please be advised that the Regular Meeting of the Passaic County Manchester Regional High School Board of Education scheduled for November 15, 2018 has been cancelled. The next regularly scheduled November meeting will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Samuel Wiener Library located at 70 Church Street, Haledon, NJ. Action will be taken. Executive Session will occur after candidate interviews for open board seat and prior to adjournment.

MRHS Presents: Drone Club

Did you know that MRHS has one of the very few drone clubs in the state of New Jersey? Every week, more and more students are training to fly, race, and video school athletics/events. Future plans for the MRHS Drone Club include getting our members FAA-certified to start their own small businesses servicing our local real estate, construction, and landscaping industries, as well as provide community event photography! MRHS receives Sustainable Jersey for Schools certification.

Manchester Regional High School has met the rigorous requirements to achieve Sustainable Jersey for Schools certification. These schools form part of a group of 11 schools that achieved the Sustainable Jersey for Schools certification in 2018. A
total of 779 schools and 310 school districts are participating in the program overall.

National Honor Society Induction 2018

The MRHS Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted fourteen new members on Tuesday, 10/23/18 in the Library/Media Center. Families were treated to an intimate setting where our new inductees were honored with high praise from faculty and administration. Congratulations new members! Special thanks to alumna guest speaker Ms. Ala and NHS Advisors Ms. Bonchek and Ms. Hirschfeld.
